A bit about me:

In August 2016 I moved to London to take up a library trainee post at the Institute of Classical Studies library in Senate House (just opposite the British Museum). Prior to that I spent three very happy years studying Classics at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, and am now making my way out into the ‘real world’.

September 2017 ushers in another new era, as I begin my Library and Information Studies Masters at UCL. Very excitingly, this means that I will soon be a qualified librarian, and ready to embark upon a career filled with books (which cannot be anything other than wonderful!)

What you can expect from this blog:

Since moving here, I have been exposed to more wonderful people and places than I would have thought possible in such a short space of time, so this blog is a homage to all of them, as well as to everyone who has kept me grounded through all these changes. I hope to write on a wide range of topics, spanning from ancient mythology to Disney, and everything in between!
